I recognize that the decision to enter therapy is one of courage and vulnerability. I work from a core belief that we all deserve a life that is fulfilling, enriching, empowered and allows for healing, connection and relationship. Therapy can be a useful tool for gaining self-awareness, increasing self-esteem, managing stress, and getting support through challenging life transitions. Therapy offers effective ways of learning to cope with difficult emotions and the impact of trauma and can help to build strong family relationships and attachments. This involves learning to recognize and identify patterns in our life that no longer serve us and create a sense of shame and disconnection from ourselves and others.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and will partner with you in identifying your personal and/or family goals. I provide individual psychotherapy for teens (16 years of age and up), adults, and family therapy. I strive to provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental, strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive therapeutic environment. I call upon my training and experience to tailor my approach to each individual's specific needs & concerns.
I look forward in joining you on your journey of exploration and transformation.
